Syncing Google Analytics Account with Platform
Click on Options, just under the top navigation. Click Manage Accounts under Linked Accounts. If you donât have permission to access Linked Accounts, talk to your Account Representative or your Platform account Administrator.
Click New Account. NOTE: Be sure youâre signed into the Google Analytics account you want to authorize before continuing.
Select Google Analytics and click Verify Account. For a newer GA4 Account select Google Analytics (GA4) for an older legacy account select Google Analytics (UA). NOTE: Google will deprecate older GA accounts in 2023.
On the next screen, you'll need to Accept permission for the emfluence Marketing Platform to view your Google Analytics Data. Follow the walkthrough to agree to the necessary permissions for data to be shared with emfluence. You will need to be signed in to an account in order to connect. Since Google uses different methods to verify GA4 (newer accounts) and older UA accounts, make sure you choose the correct option to match your existing account.
NOTE: no personal information from your account will be used, even though youâre logged in personally to GA to authorize.
