Account Settings

Using Account Settings, located in the Options menu, you can set default settings for your emfluence account including Brand Colors, Social URLs, and Account Information. NOTE: These settings are Account wide and not user specific.

Brand Colors

The first tab within Account Settings allows you to add Brand Colors to your account. These will appear in different color pickers across the emfluence Marketing Platform in emails, landing pages, template builder, content blocks, and elsewhere.

To set a Brand Color, click on the Add Color box and either choose your color from the color picker or type in the full hexcode (don't forget the #, example: #691f1f is a valid color but 691f1f is not). Once the color is selected you will see a color box appear behind the color picker. Click outside the color picker to set the color. You can repeat the process to add new colors. If you accidentally add the wrong color, you can click into the box and change the color, or you can click on the trash icon to remove it from your Brand Colors. Once you are finished, don't forget to save!

Once saved, if you go into a new email or landing page, you will now see your new color(s) applied. Brand colors will be shown at the top of the color picker. NOTE: If you have an email, landing page, template builder or any other page already open that includes the color picker, the changes won't refresh by default. You will need to reload your page to see your new colors applied.

Social URLs

For use with the Social Links element in the Drag & Drop editor, you can set default URLs for you social media channels. NOTE: This will not reset social media links elsewhere within your template, landing page, or email. On the Social URLs tab within Account Settings, type or paste branding landing page URLs for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Remember to Save.

Once these are applied, when you make a new email in the Drag & Drop editor, and add a Social Links element, the default of those icons will now be set your branded Facebook, Twitter, and other social media URLs. NOTE: This will not change URLs for email drafts that already have a social links element in place, and if you have an email already open any changes won't refresh by default. You will need to reload your page to see these changes applied.

Account Information

Using the Account Information tab within Account Settings, you can control the default address variables (like those that show up at the bottom of your default template). Remember to Save. NOTE: This will not overwrite addresses hardcoded into your template, nor will it insert new values into your template that weren't their prior (such as if you now have an Address 2 line such as a Suite number but did not in your previous address and don't have that variable on your template). These will only populate over pre-existing variables.
