Bounces and Bounce Types & What They Mean
From the Message Summary page, you can click next to the Bounce Rate at the top right to see what email addresses bounced and learn more about the bounce type.
Or, you can go to the Results Tab and select All Bounces from the drop down menu. (Clicking "View" in the summary above does that automatically.)
Hover over a bounce type to read more about that bounce, i.e. MB for Mail Block, HB for Hard Block (bad address).
Why did my email bounce? What do these bounce types mean?
Receiving email servers don't always give us complete information on why they reject messages.
There are actually hundreds of different bounce types. This site is a great resource for learning more about bounce types:

The emfluence Marketing Platform automatically scores bounces as they come in. A hard bounce means the email address is no longer valid and we immediately mark them as "Held" in our system so you don't continue to try to email those addresses. For soft bounces, we give each bounce type a weight that can either be a full or half point in our system. If any subscriber reaches a total point value of 5 in consecutive mailings, we mark them as "Held" also. If at any point we do get a message through to someone who has previously soft bounced, but not reached the 5 point threshold, we set their score back to zero.
