Copy a Workflow
In choosing to copy a workflow you can either copy the Draft version of your workflow or the Published version. If only one saved version exists, the other will be greyed out by default. When choosing to copy a workflow, you will be given the option to copy only the placeholders (i.e. the layout our blueprint of your workflow but not the individual elements) or create individual copies of all emails, groups, and decisions inside your original workflow.
Placeholder Copy
Workflow Copy
If you only want the structure of your original, and don't wish to create duplicates off all the groups and emails inside your original (which will have to be deleted individually), you should choose to copy only the layout of the workflow. If you do want to copy groups and emails, you have the added option to bring over the contacts from the original groups and add them to your new groups or leave the groups empty. NOTE: You will still need to activate the copied emails and publish your workflow before it can be used.
Placeholder Copy
A placeholder copy allows you to copy the structure of your draft or published workflow without copying the individual groups and emails. This gives you the ability to copy the blueprint of the original and make changes before adding specific groups and emails. Follow the same steps used to create your original workflow to add groups and emails to your placeholder copy.
Workflow Copy
A workflow copy will create duplicates for all groups and emails found in your original. If contacts exist in your original workflow, you can choose to copy those over to your duplicate groups as well.
