Data Sync

If aren't using Dynamics or Salesforce and don't have the budget for a custom integration, a Data Sync may be another option. Unlike calls made over the API, the Data Sync will not be "real time," instead it will be set-up to run daily or weekly based on your needs. Data Syncs involve setting up credentials to a secure FTP server (this can be on the emfluence FTP and we can give you access, or you can use your own FTP server and give us access).

During set-up of a Data Sync, file structure and mapping is established and those rules are coded into the sync. (If you make any changes to the columns of the daily file, you will need to contact us to edit your sync as the mapping will need to be changed on our end to match.) You would then upload a file to the FTP server and we would download it and upload it into your account. Details of your sync can be found on the Contacts section under Data Syncs.

You can also examine your imports from your Data Sync on the Import History page under Contacts by choosing Data Sync as the source of the import.
