Importing Contacts for Other Users

Users with Admin rights can import contacts and assign them to another user. This comes in handy in situations where an Admin is setting up accounts that others will use.
To get started, go to Contacts>Import Contacts.

Import and map the file as you would normally (more on that here). On the Settings step you can change the Import as User from your current login to any other user available in your account. By default this will only set the ownership for brand new contacts not already in your account. If some of the list you are importing already exists and is tied to a different user you wish to change, you can check the Override Contact Owner box as well to reset them to the user you have chosen.
