Message Approval

If approval is required to send your message, you will be taken to an Approval Status screen, showing who still needs to approve your email. If your emails do not require approval, click Next when you are ready to send. 


To send a request for approval, enter any comments into the Comments field i.e., “Please approve this email by 5:00 on Tues., May 7th”, and click Send Approval.  The Users designated as approvers will receive a test version of the email with your comments listed above the preview.

 

 

The approver will receive a proof of the email in the inbox with a link at the top to either approve or reject this email.

 

Clicking the link will take the approver into the emfluence Marketing Platform (if not already signed-in they will be required to log back into the platform). On the Approval Log, the approver can toggle approval to either yes or no and include comments for the owner of the email. As always, remember to hit Save.

 

The owner of the email will receive email alerts when an approver has rejected the email, or when the email has been fully approved.

  

 

You can follow the links in these emails to return to your message and either edit the content and resubmit an approval request, or confirm the scheduled delivery.


When your email is approved, the red light will change to green, and you will see a Next button that will take you to the final step.
