How to Reset Your Password
If you've forgotten your password, you may use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen of the Platform.
You will be prompted to enter your username and the email address. You will need both in order to reset your password. Click the "Send Email" button. This will trigger a email to be sent to you.
You should quickly receive an email with your username and a link to reset your password. Follow the steps to update your password. NOTE: Remember your password must be at least 12 characters long and include at least one character that is not a letter (such as a number).
After updating, you will be required to type in your password in order to log back into the platform.
NOTE: After a series of login failures, your login may be locked to prevent someone from trying to break in your account. If this happens, you will not be able to recieve the password email until your user is reset. Reach out to support@emfluence.com to have your login reset.
Changing a Password
The only person who can change a password is the user themselves. If you wish to change your password while you are logged in to your account you can do so by clicking the toggle next to your username at the top left of the page.
This will launch your user's information. Click the Edit User button to update your user (a client admin can also update their user from the Options menu under System Users).
At the bottom of the User Detail tab, you will find an option to edit your username, email tied to the username, or update your password. To unlock this section, you will need to type in your existing password.
Click Submit to continue. With the menu unlocked, you can now update any of the following information. Remember to click the Save button at the top of the screen when you are finished
While a client admin cannot see or update another user's password, they can require the user to reset their password by checking the Require password change at the next login box. They can also set a rolling expiration of the user's password. NOTE: Only a Client Admin can do this.
