Posting an Instagram Message
In the Messages section you can hover over New Social and click on Instagram. You can also hover over the Messages icon in your top navigation and choose New Instagram Post. NOTE: You can also create an Instagram post on the Calendar.
Next, you will be taken to the Edit Social Message Page. You can give your new post a title (unlike email, social messages don't require a title but if you have similar social messages you may want to title them differently to tell them apart). And then choose the social account you have access to. On an Instagram message you can use the dropdown to see all Instagram profiles your user has access to post. If you only have one, that will be the only account shown. If the account you wish to post to doesn't show up on the list, you would need to check to make sure it is set-up in emfluence and/or your user has been assigned to that account in order to post.
The only type of post you can make to Instagram is an Image post. You can either paste the image URL you want to share directly into the field or, if the image has been saved to your emfluence account, you can click the file button on the far right of the input and choose the file from your Uploaded Files. Adding using either method will fill in a preview of the image for you. On an Image post, you don't need to also fill in message text, but you can if you wish.
After creating your post, you can now schedule it. If you leave the default Send manually checked, the message will be posted as soon and you click Post Message (you will need to Save your post prior to posting it). If you want to schedule in the future, select Set a delivery date/time and set a schedule for the post.
You can also assign your message to any existing Campaign, or use the Enter new campaign name input to create a new campaign and assign it to the message.
Save, and then schedule or post your message.
Sent social messages can be viewed in the Messages section under the Social tab. You can check/uncheck the boxes for the individual types of social to limit your search. You can find your metrics there, as well as the ability to click into an individual message by clicking on the title for further information.
