Rating Scale Question

If you want to survey respondents to give you measurable, quantitative ratings, you can use a Ratings question type.

Begin by typing your question into the Question Text box.  It can be helpful to survey-takers to specify how the rating scale is weighted.

Then select the number of ratings, or the size of your ratings scale (for example on a scale from 1 to 5).

Type in your ratings scale as the Column choices, and assign each a weight. For example, Very Unimportant, Unimportant, Neutral, Important and Very Important.  On this scale, Very Important is weighted as a 5 and Very Unimportant is a 1.  You can check the box to make this question required for survey-takers.

Note: If you would like to provide an option for n/a, simply assign that option a weight of 0, and it will not affect the average score of your question results.
