Setting up SMS in your account


To begin using SMS text messaging in the emfluence Marketing Platform, SMS must be turned on in your account. There is a cost for both the number(s) included in your SMS messaging service and the amount of text messages sent. Manual bulk SMS sends and adding automated SMS messages to workflows are currently available. Access to SMS is controlled both at the account level, you will need it enabled in your account to see the menus, as well as a user-level permission. Contact support@emfluence.com if you want to start using SMS in your account. emfluence will need details from you about the number(s) you wish to purchase in order to set-up a message service for that account.
 


 

To allow access to individual users, once SMS has been activated in your account, you will need to make sure those users have the SMS permissions. To be able to create and send SMS messages, you will need the SMS Admin permission. To allow a user only to view SMS messags (for reporting, etc.), you can grant them SMS Viewer Permission. Client Admins by default also have full access to create and deploy SMS messages.
