SMS Settings can be found in the Options menu under System Options to assign a specific messaging service to a restricted user. NOTE: If your account does not use restricted users, who are given limited access unless specifically assigned permissions, you do not need to set SMS Settings. Also, the user will need the proper SMS permission assigned to them under System Users.
Clicking on SMS Settings you will find a list of the different Messaging Services available in your account. To add restricted user access to a specific messaging service, click the pencil on the far right and choose the user(s) from the menu options provided. Click Save to save the changes. Repeat with other messaging services if needed.
Most SMS setup will involve emfluence setting up a subaccount for you that will be tied to your account and send deliver SMS messages you schedule within emfluence. All billing will be done through emfluence. However, if you have your own Twilio account you wish to use instead, you can do so. NOTE: Clients connecting their own Twilio account to emfluence would still owe emfluence fees to cover the costs of the service. If you are interested in pricing, reach out to support@emfluence.com.
To connect your account, simply click the and fill out the form with the proper information. NOTE: For messages to be delivered, you will need a message service set up in Twilio with at least one number attached to it and have Twilio-approved campaigns as well.
