Drag & Drop Template Builder Settings
Similar to the email compose builder, the right-sidebar menu is divided into Layouts, Content, Library, and Settings. Depending on which section you are selecting, the settings options will change. If you click anywhere in the outer blank space of a template, your settings will show your Template Settings (you can also get to these settings by clicking on the cog wheel
in the gray bar menu).

In your Template Settings you can change the basics of your templates.
- Container Width allows you to change the width of the main center table of your template. It is default is 600 pixels (we suggest not making your template so wide readers will need to scroll sideways to view your content).
- Container Color and Image allow you to put a background color or background image behind this main center table of your template. If your template has a body background, this color will overwrite it within this column. If you add a Layout within this area with its own background color, that color will overwrite this one.
- Body Background allows you to put a background color on the farthest outer table and apply the color on the full background of the template.
- Web Fonts Choose up to 3 Google fonts for use in this template. Fallback fonts are applied automatically. The most common Google fonts are available automatically. If you wish to use a different Google font, you would need to add the Google code to the template manually in the Head section of your template by clicking the
icon in the gray header bar at the top of your compose window. NOTE: Not all inboxes may display the Google font and some will revert to the fallback or inbox default.
- Font Family Displays the default font assigned to your template. This will be applied throughout your template except where you have specifically coded a different font to be used in any section, content block, library element, etc.
If you would like to use a Google font, first add the web font above and then choose the font once it shows up in the dropdown. If you are using a custom Google font you have coded manually, you would want to set this setting to Inherit.
- Font Size: All content that doesn't have a specific font size applied will be set to the font size you select here. NOTE: Not all inboxes may respect a default font size and some Inboxes, such as some versions of Outlook prefer you not to use any odd-numbered font sizes (11, 13, 15, etc.).
- Font Color: This option will allow you to set a default font color to any content that doesn't have a font color applied to it. NOTE: Not all inboxes may respect a default font color.
- Link Color: This will set all text links to a specific color. NOTE: Not all inboxes may respect a default link color.
- Link Style allows you to apply bold, italicize, underline, or no underline, to all links that do not have their own separate formatting.
