Contact Record

Clicking into and individual contact record in the emfluence Marketing Platform will allow you to view and edit the record of an individual contact, add/remove them from groups, and explore their activities with Emails, Landing Pages, Surveys, Website Tracking, and more.

 

Contact Detail

On the Contact Detail tab of an individual contact record you will be able to update their Contact Information by filling in standard and custom fields. You also have the ability to control the Suppressed or Held status of the contact. NOTE: You should be careful when resetting the Held status of a contact who is likely held because the email could not be delivered to. You should only ever unsuppress a contact who has explicitly asked you to do so.

 

 

Groups

On the Groups tab, you can add the contact to any existing groups within your account or remove them from groups they are currently assigned to. To find an existing group, type the name into the input and choose it from the dropdown. To create a brand new group, click the New Group icon, or click Browse Groups to see existing groups within your account (that your user has access to). To remove a contact from a group, click the trash icon and save the contact. NOTE: You cannot remove someone from a group who is suppressed in that group.

 

 

Emails

The Email tab will provide information about the contact's recent email activity. You will see the emails they have been sent listed along with the date sent and information about views, clicks, and bounces. If the contact is pending for any automated emails, you will see those listed above the Sent Emails. You can remove a contact from an automated email by clicking the trashcan icon for that email. NOTE: Removing someone from an email in the middle of a workflow will also stop them from receiving any further emails in that workflow.

 

 

Pages

The Page tab will provide information about individual pages the contact has visited along with any clicks and conversions on those pages. A conversion would be someone submitting an emfluence Form on the page.
 

 

Surveys

The Survey tab will provide information on any surveys the contact has started and completed.

 

 

Website Tracking

The Website Tracking tab will provide information total and unique pages visited per session along with the time spent on each page. NOTE: To see data for Website Tracking, you must first set-up tracking in your account AND contacts must have cookie (emfluence does not track unknown contacts). Timeline

The Timeline view, allows you to see an accumulation of activities for each contact, organized by newest activities first.

 

 

Contact Scores

The Contact Scores tab will provide the contact's score for all models currently being used in your account. Whichever score is labeled "Primary" is the base contact score that is shown at the top of the contact record.
