Preferences Page
Located in the System Options column of the Options menu, the Preferences Page allows you to set preferences on your account's unsubscribe page as well as give you options to change the default look of your unsubscribe page. NOTE: If you have a customized unsubscribe page changes made here may not apply.
Design
In the Design section we allow you to add a logo to the page and allow you to set the background color you wish. If you are previewing your unsubscribe page in your browser (the easiest way is to send yourself a proof and click on the Unsubscribe link) you should be able to refresh your page and see your changes apply.
Unsubscribe Reasons
Scrolling down on the Preference Page you can view all the current reasons someone may choose when unsubscribing from your emails (these responses will be saved in Reason for Unsubscribing Report). All accounts start with a preset number of responses. You can edit these by clicking the pencil icon for the choice, remove it by clicking the trashcan, or rearrange the order of the choices by using the hamburger menu icon (the three lines) and dragging choices up or down to change the order in which they will appear.
You also have the option to add additional reasons to the list as well. To do this you can click +Add Reason. In the modal, you can type the reason and click Add Reason to add it to the list. You can then rearrange the order of your list by dragging the reasons up or down in their display order.
Conditional Preferences
The Conditional Preferences section allows users to create logic to determine what public groups show up in the preferences center. If a contact matches multiple conditions, all assigned groups will be displayed. If a contact matches none of the conditions, no groups will be displayed. If no conditions are defined, all public groups will be displayed (this is the default behavior).
To set up conditional preferences, click Add Condition and set up the logic you want to use. Use the dropdowns provided to select the standard or custom field you wish for your logic. Next, choose the operator and value you wish to match (ex: find everyone whose City field value equals "Kansas City"). And, finally, choose the group you wish to be displayed. Make sure to Apply your condition AND also don't forget to Save Conditions at the bottom of the page. NOTE: Only Public Groups can be used in conditional preferences as Private Groups do not show up on the Unsubscribe Page.
