Journey Reporting

Making use of custom fields, you can create a Journey Stage for your contacts by applying a set of picklist values to specific custom field. To start, create custom fields as normal. Go to Options > Custom Fields and create new custom fields. For more on custom fields click here
In order to be used for Journey Reporting, the custom field must be a Text field. Fill out the Name and the optional description of your field, along with the Max Characters allowed (just like you would for any other custom text field). Then, to add it to Journey Reporting, check the box for "Use for journey reporting."
Then, to limit the values to a set number, enable Picklist Values (any value for a contact not included in the pick list will be ignored and not saved in this field).
After saving, you will need to upload values to this field on contact records through an import, data sync, API or other method. Once values are populated, the Journey Reporting report on the Home page will populate with a notation as to which custom field is being used for these values.
By assigning one of the available values to a contact, you can track that contatct's journey from awareness to advocacy (or whatever values you choose). Journey Reporting, if in use, will show up on the Home Page Dashboard. Clicking on any individual stage of the chart will run a search for contact matching that Journey Stage on the Search Contacts Page.
As with any custom field, you can also take those values and employ them in Dynamic Groups and Workflows to trigger emails to contacts when they reach a new tier or use those groups to create valuable subsets for specific messaging to contacts in specific tiers.
